Accra Autism Seminar

The Accra Autism Seminar was organized in collaboration with the University of Houston Clear Lake (UHCL) Centre for Autism and Developmental Disabilities in Texas, USA. The one-day training workshop, which discussed Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism, was organized on 20th April 2019.

More than 200 instructors, teaching staff/aids, librarians, nurses, caregivers of children with disabilities, therapists (speech pathologists and occupational therapists), physical therapists, parents and professionals with children/individuals with Autism and other related developmental disabilities participated in the workshop.

Facilitators included Loukia Tsami (MA, BCBA, LBA), Research Associate at the UHCL Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities, USA, and Dorothea Lerman (Ph.D., BCBA-D, LBA), Professor of Psychology and Behavior Analysis and Director of the UHCL Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities, USA.
